The other thing nobody mentions: swing chains rust in Australian coastal areas within 12–18 months. Look for galvanised or PVC-coated chains, or check every 6 months and replace early. And metal frames in full sun can hit 60°C in summer — powder-coated frames stay a bit cooler but position swings under shade if you can.
