Your limit depends on whether you have linked your Afterpay account to a debit card or credit card. If you linked your account to a debit card, then you can't have more than $500 outstanding or your next purchase won't go through. If you fail to pay within 24 hours of the due date, laybuy will charge you a default fee of $10.00. If you do not rectify your default by making the missed installment payment within the next seven days, they will charge you a further default fee of $10.

You can cancel the laybuy agreement at any time before you receive the products. If you cancel the lay-by, the business must refund your deposit and all other amounts you've paid except for the termination fee. Where your payments don't cover the termination fee, you will have to pay the fee.

You can Laybuy products at most Target stores so that you can spread the payment over some weeks. Laybuy is available on purchases of $40 or more. A 10% deposit of the total of the laybuy is required plus a $3.00 non-refundable service fee. Regular fortnightly payments must be made.
