What type of diffuser should I buy?
Each diffuser type has trade-offs. Ultrasonic diffusers (the most popular type) mix essential oils with water and ultrasonic vibration to release a cool mist — they're affordable, quiet, double as light humidifiers, and the mist softens the scent so it's gentle for sleep and small rooms. The downside is they dilute the oil (less intense scent) and need cleaning weekly to prevent mineral build-up. What essential oils work best in a diffuser?
