How do I choose the right office chair height?
The seat should let you sit with feet flat on the floor, thighs parallel to the ground, knees at 90 degrees. Most adults need a seat height of 41-52cm. Tall users need 45-55cm range. Always test the gas lift's range.

How long does an office chair last?
Quality office chairs last 7-10 years. Cheap chairs ($80-$150) last 2-3 years before the gas lift fails or armrests crack. Our chairs include a 12-month warranty covering the gas cylinder, mechanism and frame.
What Most Furniture Sites Won't Admit

Second truth: the gas lift cylinder is the part that fails first on cheap chairs. Class 1 and 2 cylinders are rated for 2-5 years of light use. Class 3 and 4 cylinders last 8-10+ years. Most listings hide the class rating. Check the spec sheet before buying.
